Alloy size information:
  • 437M for M2/M3/M4 - 19"F+R - Jet Black or Ferric Grey: 9Jx19 ET29 (F) + 10Jx19 ET40 (R)
    Europe: here | USA: here
  • 763M 'M Performance' for M2/M3/M4 - 19"F+R - Matt Black: 9Jx19 ET29 (F) + 10Jx19 ET40 (R)
    Europe: here | USA: here
  • 763M for M4 CS - 19"F + 20"R - Orbit Grey: 9Jx19 ET29 (F) + 10Jx20 ET40 (R) (source confirming those ET values: here and here)
Too bad the 763M in Orbit Grey is not available in 10Jx19 ET40 size fitting the M2 rear.

As we know, the 763M wheels already exist in 'Orbit Grey' (M4 CS) and matte black (M Performance for M2/M3/M4).

Now BMW M adds a version with gold colored finish. Will be available for M2/M3/M4. Wish that BMW would release the 'Orbit Grey' version for the M2.

Sources: here and here.

would love orbit grey for the m2! can the m4 version fit our m2? also wish the offsets were stronger so they didn't require spacers to fill the guards better.

The problem with 763M matte black or grey is that they and tire look like become one piece, making they look smaller than it actually is.

You can see every internet picture showing them under strong light so they look good. But un real life they are a bit ugly, they really are. One of my m4 friend took them off and sold them just a few days after install. A few other aren't 100% happy but can live with the purchase.

I hope gold 763m can fix the problem with its "visibility", though technically they're still matte gold. I probably will buy.

This is disappointing to me. I really like the 763M.

bmwpartspros.com has been the only place I could find just the wheels (and not the full wheel/tire set). You'll need TPMS modules too.

I agree with comments about how they kind of blend into the tires. I have similar wheels on my M235 but I'm a fan of the look on AW.

Crazy to put these in a winter set-up? Likely not for driving in the snow or anything - have an SUV for the few snow days here in the DC area. Just don't want to keep the car in the garage all winter long and not take advantage of the heated steering wheel! And normally not a fan of black wheels, but the look is starting to grow on me for a mineral gray that I should be taking delivery on in a week or so.

If I did decide to pull the trigger on these, would it be better to keep a staggered set-up or could I get something like the Michelin PA4s? Looking at Tire Rack, the only staggered option would be the Pirelli Sottozero Serie II. I guess for the intended use - dry cold-ish weather driving - would the Pirellis be the better option over the PA4s?

Noooooooooooo lol. At least make this your summer setup by swapping the stock tires onto these and throw winters on the stock wheels.

Or since we're both in va, let me borrow these for my summer set up! Also, there's a DMV m2 group on fb with 30+ m2's in the area.

Hah - I guess makes more sense to throw winters on the stock wheels - just thought the all black wheels was a more appropriate winter look. But I'll probably cheap out and go with something more sensible for the winter. Or maybe do nothing right now and mostly garage the car this winter and then throw winters on the stock wheels next year.

White/silver wheels make way more sense for winter; salt is white-ish, hide the salt.

People only think of black being "for winter" because of the historic use of cheapo steel wheels on cars that come with factory alloys. The steelies are always black because they are normally hidden by plastic snap-on hubcaps on the lower-end models of the car.

Black is for summer when you are autox/hpde'ing and coating them with brake dust, black hides the dust.

i was going to order a set of these to replace my 666m wheels on my m2, and actually got a great quote from a dealer, but the more i look at these wheels, the more they seem to fade into the car. my m2 is BSM, so i feel like these wheels arent going to pop in any way...

Lol that would be an option! I just can't justify paying that amount only to refinish!

The 763M wheels in gold look quite appealing to me.
I would like to use them as track wheels and put some michelin cup 2's on them. Is this a possibility? Are they available in 19 inch? And what specification michelin cup 2's can I put on them? I don't use spacers at the moment. Just want an easy swap for good weather track days

Yes, 19" are available - read the first post of this thread. BMW sells them as a complete package with OE star-spec Cup 2 tires, too. Since the article states the gold version are meant for the M2 as well, I think this implies that there will be 19" rears.
