Swapped steering wheel...now airbag light
So i recently swapped/upgraded my steering wheel and now I'm getting the "Passenger Restraint System" fault. Also if I use the horn, it constantly sounds until I unplug the battery.
I did disconnect the battery, maybe not for long enough before removing the airbag? I have double-checked the connection from the airbag to the car and clipped in properly. I'm really struggling to find out exactly how I can wipe this fault code, I see I need an E-SYS cable... Does anyone know if this product would work? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133168129641 any help would be really appreciated. |

Yes , that's the proper cable for Esys and more than likely you tripped the airbags wire(s). I would take it apart first and double check if anything is kinked.
