Interesting - and appreciate the reply. By the way, was that at Center of Gravity the photo of the car on the ramps was taken? Thought I recognise used their logo in the background!

I have to say, it was another forum member who put me onto them and I’ve been having a chat to them about the best approach if I go ahead with the MPS for my M2C. Like you, I’ve found them to be incredibly knowledgable and highly helpful. Needless to say, when I pull the trigger, I’ll be booking the car in them once the spring have settled.

Does anyone have any tips/guides on adjusting the rear height of these coilovers? Obviously the fronts are very easy, but when trying the rear it didn't seem to go as planned.
I found a post implying that you need to put some pressure on the perch before it will spin, using a second jack I guess. I'd really like to avoid removing the lower arm! Any tips are much appreciated. Last edited by BirdsEye; 01-09-2021 at 03:19 PM.. |

This whole thing with the warranty. Is it with the coilovers or maintaining the cars entire warranty?
If your car is outside of warranty is it not much cheaper to buy them and get an independent to install? |

Was seriously considering MP Coilovers, in fact ordered them, but canceled before they were shipped. In the end it seems you have trouble getting them repaired, especially if you install yourself. Ended up getting Ohlins RTR for the same money, and solid Company that stands behind their product.

4 wheel alignment seems like a good idea, so make sure they have that and include it as part of the install. |

3DM Suspension had e few sets of MP40 greatly reduced, that are sold out now. New model is MR41. Only difference is they added a few threads for lowering.

When I had my M Perf coils fitted to oem settings 600mm rear 595mm front and me as a 128kg ish driver the rears were sat on the bump stops when the car was static. We trimmed some off and it gave the rear damper rods some travel before hitting the bump stops. BMW/KW have started selling the kit with smaller bump stops since their first launch. (Mine have the smaller/latest bump stops) |

im toying up between the MPerfs and the KW v3s
Does anyone have the rear on lowest ridehight with 19s that can take a measurement for me? I have the eibach springs on mine and its coming in at 595 on the rear and im happy with that -> do the MPerf coilovers go that low? only thing stopping me from the KWs (which i know go lower) right now is the long lead time - im being impatient. Can get the MPerfs now but 8 weeks on the KWs... cheers |

I have just ordered the M Performance coilover system, having driven 7,000kms on my original comp suspension I do feel there is room for improvement.
Excited to try them, what height settings are most people running them at?

If you need 595 in the rear you'll have to modify the MPS or buy the KW. |
