Falls flat over 6000
anyone else notice on the butt-dyno stock s55 m2c cars just run out of thrust over 6000?

Stock S55? No, it always ran fine till redline for me. Plenty of dynos show it keeps making power till redline, not tapering off. Example is below:

thanks. tough to describe other than... I don't want to take it to redline. shifting at just over 6K it feels.. quicker.

I believe its actually between 5-5.5k rpm. There were multiple dyno charts when the M2C was released and they all showed the power capped a bit after 5k. BMW didnt want M2C breaking big brothers legs (M3/M4).
Thats why you do a simple tune on the M2C and it releases a chunk of power and the acceleration is linear until redline.

Yes, it does seem to taper off before RL. I've done multiple track days and have to focus on not running it to the limiter. It's not a huge drop off but after 6500 or so you're just messing around if you don't go ahead and shift.
