Yes. I did. Very easy to do.

I'm going to go way out on a limb here and say this (kind of just testing the waters, out loud, to see if I believe it ):

Looking at the ass-end of my M2C sitting in the garage as I pull in and out with my other car this past 10 days (f#(king SNOW/ICE!), I'm growing used to the big ass muffler. I said it. There, I'm out

It looks more functional/purposeful than those ubiquitous, pussy-ass generic BMWs I have to follow around here!

OK, I'll see how this goes when I pull in the garage tonight whether I believe that or not

I applaud you, sir, for your bravery and your willingness to be contrarian.

One could almost say that your cajones are nearly as large as your M2C's.

Can any of you who used a primer for your application please post a link to the primer product you used?

I bought these, but have not used them yet.

I plan to hit it with a red Scothbrite pad first.

VHT SP100 is a flame proof High Temp primer

VHT SP102 is the flame proof High Temp flat black paint

Thanks. I found the SP102 but not the SP100. Is that the same as this SP1000000 grey primer?

The muffler has been sanded, a primer has been put on and then matte black (satin) heat resistant paint has been applied. Very happy with the result!

To early yet to report any issues with it, but will do so should there be any in the future.

Swiss job👍

The distractingly large muffler

The eyes are drawn away from the quad exhaust tips to the scrotal muffler...

In real life is it as distracting as in the photos?

From the spy shots the new G80 M3 looks to have the same low-hanging muffler too.

I would assume aftermarket exhausts could fix this.

It’s absurd. It’s almost always “great color, what’s up with the exhaust?”.
