Sure, if you can afford this car, you likely have a large bank account but I would be afraid to see the cost of fixing that spoiler if anything were to go wrong.

This Panamera looks slightly better outside than the old one (way nicer inside) and like the old one, the wheels will make or break this vehicle.

Last gen. looked like shit until someone dropped and mounted at least 22s on them, this one will be no different...Turbo or not.

As for performance...it better be fucking fast with 550+ HP, AWD, and a $180K price tag (Turbo S)...
M6GC is a little better (than the awful looking standard car) but still a far cry off this car in terms of looks and especially interior quality an design given how much nice even the old Panamera was over just about anything.
A 4400 lb sedan with 550 hp running 7:38 on a street tire is noting short of biblical. That is as fast as a 997 GT3 or 458 Italia and better than most manufacturers best sports car and sports saloons that are not even as luxury oriented as this.
Last time I checked an m6gc started at ~120k and still doesn't perform, handle, or look as good as this nor has the refinement, tech or quality. The turbo at 150k is well worth the premium especially since the Panamera also holds value far better as the top high end luxury sedan for resale. The turbo S will only be that much further out of reach with its performance. End of the day the Panamera is a car that commands a price because of how well it's made, it's performance and its exclusivity. It's a car for those who can afford it, and it sells extremely well.

And on top of that the wagon of this car is also quite the looker too.

They specifically called it out as the turbo. The turbo S will only be faster.

They did also mention that the Panamera was capable of a Carrera GT matching time which I'd venture means the turbo S will run a 7:28. And to think what that number is, is astounding.

All around, I'd say what a great car.......but the touch stuff, with no knobs, has got to be a problem if you are driving and you need to adjust something. No feel. Outside of that, I would take this car in a millisecond! My kids might actually not complain about sitting in the back (they don't seem to like the back seat of my 135).

Can't wait to drive one. The old one was awesome, once you got inside and started driving. Would have been fine if my garage lights didn't work and I never had to look at it. This is so much better, they really got it right this time.

I guess all these arguing points here are rather subjective...doesn't mean that either of us is wrong...to me the $30K difference between the two is an insanely large amount of money...to you it may just be a drop in the bucket.

I do like the interior but I guess I'm just not impressed with Cadillac ATS type of touch buttons...they didn't execute it well, I hope Porsche did a better job...only time will tell. I, for one, always liked BMW's austere and clinical cabins, but that's just me, I guess.

On the outside, the thing is ugly as fuck, is and always will be...just like it's predecessor. Like I said earlier, wheels usually help it get by but you can only put so much lipstick on a pig...

As far as the performance goes, that thing is ridiculous. No one in their right mind could argue that. It's putting down some impressive times especially if it's 'only' a Turbo and not the Turbo S...but I'd like some visual/third party confirmation before I believe anything.

I'll wait to see if the next M5/M6GC are lighter and AWD...and if so, how they perform...until then, this one reigns supreme...no doubt.

As far as value goes...here is a 3 year old Turbo going for 50% of it's original value...but that is none of my business...

Makes me wonder, how much the bar will move on the next gen E63s and M5... I would assume they should be able to get below the 7:30s as well... German engineering at its best

Nice looking car. Touchscreen everything is beat though, that shit gets grimey and as mentioned you have to actually fully look at what you're doing, you can't just feel for the buttons/knobs you know.

Agreed, but you get used to it.

You've pretty much got the basic necessities from your steering wheel. You shouldn't be inputting things like addresses unless you are using voice command.

You do get that whether it's the Turbo Panamera or Turbo S Panamera it only beats its previous time for Panamera Turbo S by 14s (7:52 was last gen time). Another 18s lower within the same generation?

that interior... Starship Enterprise influenced. But I am a tech junkie.

I wonder which model gets that interior treatment?

Man, I hate that rear wing. I know they own the patent on it, since 911's have it had it folevah, hell, even the Corrado had one. Just stop. Design the car properly, not like the first flying TT, and leave the gimmicks off.
