Removing small scratch on rear quarter panel spat guard (vinyl guard)

Was working in my garage and something fell off a shelf and knicked the (I think vinyl) fender guard. Anyone ever rub out a scratch/gash out of it. My finger nail doesn't catch so it's not that deep. Also, think I can get that dent out somehow?[IMG][/IMG]

Bring it to a paintless dent removal (PDR) place, they can get that ding back to perfect. You won’t be able to tell it was ever there. As far as the scratch, if your finger doesn’t catch there’s a chance it’s just a mark on your vinyl. If you can’t get it out just replace it if it bothers you.

I spent 40 min with a mild abrasive today and rubbed it out. Completely gone. And I'll look into a pdf. Thanks
