I will also take mine with a backseat. Remove the backseat then price it 20k higher than a GT4 = What's the point? Isn't BMW supposed to be a car that goes like stink at the track after dropping your kid off at the babysitter on the way?

I will soon. Someone in my garage just got one. The overrun is cool but the part I don't like is the tinny sound under acceleration. I would like to hear an S55 with a resonator. It seems like it could be leveled out kind of like the S54 rasp.

The point? The point is to remove as much weight as possible. If you want to drop your kids off at the babysitter, buy an M3 sedan, or a regular M2.

For sure. Back seats will be the first thing to go.

Glad i got my deposit in early Here's hoping it's a lot lighter (CSL) vs a lot more powerful (GTS) and if it were to look like the Vision GT6.... *drools uncontrollably*

Sure,
Right after it gets an S14.

Or right after you pay for the motor swap

By then, this whole 'MT versus DCT/auto' debate will only matter when buying an 'old' car.
Audi expects 30% of its production to be full electric by 2025.

To say otherwise is preposterous. It's the raison detre for an automatic transmission, so that one doesn't have to do part of the work !

If one were Juggling items - when is juggling two items ever " more involving " than three ?

You may be able to focus better on the two items but clearly there is less involvement.

Being more focused on fewer tasks does not equal more involving
Perfect example of circular reasoning.

Jumbo shrimp are absolutely delicious.
I should have said made up stuff instead of subjective to block off this line of debate. So I guess Ferrari's and the other exotics bore you with their DCT transmissions. The only thing I know to call trying to drive flat out with a clutch pedal as compared to a DCT is distracted and slower.

May be its slower but for many rolling the gear is more challenging and definitely more fun.

What are you going to do with your quicker times in a DCT car, anyway. Go and collect money prize or getting some sponsorships from someone?

Driving slightly faster because of the CPU managing the clutch and gears has nothing to do with being faster because of becoming a better driver.

Get a motorcycle and you will find out what involved really means. Then you can shift and throw your weight around in turns while making sure your boots don't drag on the track.
