The only reason it wasn't offered on the F-Generation 2 Series was due to cost-cutting.

Now that the cost of the technology has amortized amongst other higher-tier models, it has trickle down into the entry-level 2 Series..

I still could live without it but if it's offered on my next vehicle, like why not
U lost me at coupe
Ok, you lost me by your unnecessary statement..

I'm guessing it was some poor attempt at sarcasm/humor - just don't quit your day job..

While I'm not a fan of nannies, I believe this very thing as well. You can count me in the group that had to have it proven to me though, as I didn't really like the idea until I had it on my IS350, and now I wish it were in the M2.

Now, the impending doom frontal-crash warning, don't get me started on that nonsense.

I was attempting to say I stopped reading when I saw "grand coupe." Didn't care what was said after that.

Retired here, no day job to quit

And yes, humor is one of my many weaknesses. Plus I was probably drunk

Given that our mirrors have spots to house/display the detectors, would it be possible to install/code the functionality?

Or is the two series operating system devoid of such function

Have you used this on any of the current F series BMWs?

Trust me the don't work that well compared to other vehicles or the newer BMWs hence it would be a waste of resources.

I couldn't find a blind spot though it is weird not being able to see ur car at all. I always had it set to being able to see a tiny bit of my car for reference though now that I think about it, doesn't really have much value.

Good stuff!

The car will still be there even if you can't see it.
