Dynamic sweeping indicators
Anyone done this? My search didn't yield anything, but that could be my keywords.
Anyone in the UK found a reasonable priced vendor?

tons on ebay. They all come from the same manufacturer most likely.
Search for "f22 f87 bmw sequential turn signal" or something along that e.g: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sequentia...4AAOSwPfBds-6C |

OK. Does anyone have a comment over brightness of the LEDs vs OEM?
I've tried the @AutoID films and I'm concerned at the lack of visibility / brightness. Obvious, maybe, but I felt like giving it a go with the films. I'm just disappointed. |

detroitm2, looking much better than the films on mine. How are they in daylight? Care to share a buying source?
I think the main issue with the OEM units is the lights aren't all the way along the strip, so today, when operating I couldn't see any meaningful orange for the outside 5" on each strip. To make the dynamic sweep to the end means there must be more LEDs. |

Bought some from AliExpress for about £30. Will see whether they (a) turn up, (b) fit and (c) work.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3295...5e984c4d3mT61p Didn't really check daylight, but they're sufficiently bright at night, so I dont imagine its much of an issue during the day. |

Harsh, but fair.
Real reason is to use bright lights to avoid the idiots driving along the A92 I use to get to work. They seem to be unable to drive between the lines. Accident couple of days ago involved a stationary Police 4x4 on the hard shoulder being hit by a car transporter. Road closed for the day, air ambulance (doing ok I think): chaos. Anyway, lights turned up today, fitted in about 20mins all in, and so far they work much better than the AutoID tints.

I have AliExpress full carbon mirror caps, which aesthetically are great. However, I pinged one clip when fitting, and one in the other cap while removing to fit the indicators.
Will see how we fare when I go to refit. They’re currently drying after some judicious use of Araldite

All done.
Much better. Dark tint when off fits nicely with the carbon mirror caps. The sweeps are good timing wise, and must be brighter LEDs as they're nicely visible in the daytime. Only 'downside', and I'm really stretching here, is that I can't see that very last lit tip on the end of the mirror from inside the car. And Araldite for the win on sticking the mirror cap clips back in. Nothing dropped off on refit! |

Interesting. Just when you think your car is "done", you run across something interesting like this. I just ordered the AliExpress set. For $30 if I don't like it....no big deal. Install seems super simple.

...are we talking the OG M2 mirrors here or the M mirrors which come on the M2C?
