IMHO the wheels look terrible. If only the car was BSM... The tints are also too small and you can see a line around them which looks bad. The same goes with the roof rails: fix them! And you still did't do the things you should be doing first: the reflectors.
But of course if you like it, then great! |

I've been in the air on the carbon fiber trunk spoiler on LBB. I ordered the mirrors and rear diffuser. How do you like the trunk spoiler I've never seen really clear pictures on how it looks.

Ill try to get a few. Imo I think it works really well with lbb and gives the car a nice aggressive look compared to the stock mini spoiler. I'm also a fan of all areo parts being a contrasting color so CF does its job

I have a nice little update. Hopefully I can get everything on before the first snow fall. RKP composites front lip with the bottom extension pre-ordered. Bride Gias 2 seats currently on the way and macht schnell floor mounts. Still looking for a slider solution. Also living in New England you see snow about 5 months out of the year so I went ahead and ordered Forgstar F14 SDC all around and some Blizzak lm-60s which I've ran for about 4 winters on my e93 m3 and swear by them. I also plan on lowering the rear about a half inch and tuck the top of the tire like the front.

My first post here - given the JDM love I'm feelin from this thread and where the OP came from - I thought these pics would be appreciated - I'm hoping to get into a BSM M2 in February - supposedly #5 on my dealer's list. Anyway - couple of pics. Yes thats my real license plate

Are you daily driving this car? How is the KW suspension coping with the streets of boston? Remenber, there being lots of potholes...

yeah the USDM STi engine is a 2.5l (EJ) that has its followers and its detractors. The JDM engine has been a 2.0l engine for a while that is widely thought to be better in many ways. Apparently Subaru believed we red-blooded Americans wanted bigger engines and so gave us the bigger one. The new WRX has a 2.0l engine with a twin scroll turbo and equal length headers - correcting some of the design flaws of the EJ. Still, that EJ rumble is unmistakable....

Yes the car is daily driven! You're right we don't have the best quality roads out here. The funny thing is I haven't bottomed out yet which isn't normal in the city but ill definitely say the ride quality of the KW's are very similar to stock. The only time you notice its stiffer is when you go over a few small bumps at slow speeds. These coils are worth every penny IMO

I'm sorry but those painted letters on tires thing is hideous, and whoever brought that back into fashion should be strung up and beaten.

[QUOTE=Bigcatkian;20695825]Love the Sti and the plate! I still miss my 2012 sometimes. It seems the new ones benefit from a much nicer interior and Harmon Kardon stereo. The stock clarion in my 2012 was probably the worst stereo in a modern car to date
I had a 2012 hatch before my 2015 - modded it a lot. Was one fast little sucker. But everything about the car just beat me up. The 2015 is definitely better. Stereo, seats, handling. Low speed ride is jiggly and harsh. Definitely looking for a bit more refinement with the M2. Love your ride - not everyone's taste - but you make it what you want it to be. |
