I posted the info about the exhaust in a separate thread about 5s before this one. So it was a joke, and as you say you can't remove it.

The M premium although not bad compared to the e9x MPE price. Hopefully it adds a unique enhanced sound track. Wishful thinking on noticeable power gains, not gonna happen for any axle back.

That amount is just plan stupid with out tips! I would like to get my hands on the idiot who suggested " hey let's sell an M exhaust no tips no more power no weight loss " then for the others to say " ok do it" What has M come to - 0

All bark and no bite?
The M2; amazing package delivered at reasonably good value. The add on M exhaust; the claw back.
I don't mind the manufacturer trying to make money, but really they can do that while offering something worthwhile that won't undo the excitement they generated by offering this product in the first place. I fitted the Mini version of this exhaust to my car and it has added sound as well as a jump in performance at a reasonably good value; why can't we have have that here? |

This might be a dumb question but if you order a MPE "without" tips (either on this or F80), is it literally like an unfinished exhaust? Or does it still come with normal tips? Basically what I'm asking is does the exhaust require you tack on the Ti/CF tips.

It needs the tips. It will just be four short pipes without the tips.
