FYI: BMW added a 'red pimple' in the boot in the 2017 version of the M2 MPE:

  • to activate 'track mode' with the original MPE version (2016): once you've started the engine just double-click the remote control;
  • to activate 'track mode' with the updated MPE version (2017): once you've started the engine you gotta get out of your car, open the boot, push the red button, close the boot, get back inside the car and subsequently double-click the remote control.

Im not sure if this is the case in real life. If you have experienced both in real life kindly enlighten me. What i look for in an exhaust is a deep tone and loud as well.
FWIW, my MPE droned so I replaced it with the Akrapovic exhaust.

It's definitely louder and deeper than the Akra. The sound is overall extremely similar, just the MPE is noticeably louder. Obviously when you get on it, the Akra will make great noises but around town it's quieter than the MPE.
