Follow up of Eisenmann Race Rear
Hi guys,
I went to Performance Technic at Fremont yesterday with my AA mid and Eisenmann rear. It turns out the Eisenmann rear DOES NOT FIT! The rear was too short to meet the link pipe of the AA mid-pipe, so I called ACTIVE what happened? They said aa mid-pipe should pair up with most of the aftermarket rear with easily bolt-on job. However, in the Eisenmann race, it is not. They said if can return the mid-pipe and get a refund as long as the pipe is not installed and potentially get an m3/4 one since the link pipe is longer. However, I think it definitely needs more modification. In the end, the shop foreman and I decide to go back to stock since I need to leave. This outcome is very disappointing! I am in talks with the IND to see if I can return the Eisenmann Race and get a refund. Cheers |

I don't get it, both are made to line up with the stock exhaust. Can't you cut the stock exhaust or get some pipe to fill the gap? That should be trivial for any shop that does exhaust.

Furthermore, I was told that this is a bold-on job, and I am not planning on cutting or any “customized” modification |

Basically boils down to race being louder and lighter than sport. Sport and AA is a good combo. Might have gone down that route but when I bought it, race was the only option. Regardless happy with the purchase. Had a warranty concern a few months back and Michael at Remus was awesome in his response. It’s nice to know that their after sales support is solid.

Okay so both remus are around mid $3k level?
If I would choose, I will definitely get the performance for around $3500. Not only it retains factory warranty but also more weight saving |

It retains warranty, but the chance of you needing to exercise your exhaust warranty is slim to none. MP is still nice though |

As I know of Remus are still made of stainless steel. Although I know this is a very popular m2c exhaust option. |

You might want to double check the price whether or not that comes with tips. Tips alone can cost $800
