Door sills.. M2C, are they illuminated or not?

Hi!

Well. Are they? I know seats logo are but are the door sills illuminated?

Mine arent.

Nope. Mine aren't. I bought the car in August, it's a 2020. Unless they were broken from the factory, i don't think they light up.

Unfortunately, the M Performance door sills are discontinued.

M Performance LED door sills discontuned https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1552113

My vehicle's factory warranty is about to expire in soon and I've confirmed yesterday that they will be no replacement part, so I'm stuck with non-functioning LED sills..

They still looks alright though...

Shouldn't they be giving you the new carbon fiber ones?

I was thinking the same thing but I didn't get a chance to push it.

I was just told by the service advisor that it was discontinued when I picked up my car and dealership was already closed for the day.

I've been Googling "discontinued BMW parts" but no luck on any replacement policy that I use to back my claim..
