If you could be gifted one mod, what would it be?
What's the one mod you wish you had, but it's so expensive that you wouldn't spend the money even if you had it?
For me it's the G-series carbon bucket seats. They would absolutely complete my build, but they go for between $12K and $17K used, and I just can't see myself ever spending that kind of money on seats alone. What's your dream mod? |

One Turbo Upgrade It’s not about the money, it’s just the first thing that came to mind 💭

Steel would be stronger. Titanium has a higher strength to weight ratio vs. steel, this means when the 2 items have the same weight the titanium one would be alot stronger. However for fixed sized objects like a crank hub, the steel would be heavier (because of its higher density) and now we must compare if the strength to weight ratio delta is high enough that the titanium hub would be stronger regardless of being lighter overall. This more often than not is not the case, as the strength to weight ratio isn't big enough to over come such a large delta in mass. This is why titanium wheel studs (fixed size) aren't anywhere near as stronger as steel ones, and are more proned to breaking. Where titanium would be very useful is if you were trying to meet weight targets and the minimum strength required fell into the range titanium could meet for a give size constraint, or size isn't a factor.
Now that's where carbon fiber is so interesting, despite being significantly lighter than most other building material, it's strength to weight ratio is so immensely high that it doesn't matter if it weighs less than metals, it can still be stronger regardless. So in fixed sized applications, carbon can still be stronger. But to answer the thread's question, I would love a custom aero kit designed by jkf aero: https://www.jkfaero.com/ For example here is a MK5 Supra he made an aero kit for:

After next week with the addition of AS SSK, e90 clutch slave cylinder, & Millway thrust arm bushings I will have addressed almost all the areas I feel like the stock M2C felt a bit short for me. The last piece of the puzzle and arguably the most important (but also most $ for mods I have done) is the suspension so I'm going with a set of 3DM/Ohlins RoadSport coilovers with some Millway Street camber plates. If it has to be something I truly will never spend the $ on but would absolutely love to have I'll have to be #3 on the CS hood list

I don't think I've paid enough attention to the difference between the GTS and CS hoods because I knew at end of the day I wouldn't spend that much on an aesthetic mod. I just like the more aggressive look it gives to the car. Now I'm intrigued to check out the differences though!
