Tail of the Dragon 11/17
When I get bored riding the train into the office I like to randomly check out photos on Kilboy’s site of cars taming the Dragon. Gives me motivation to keep working hard to make my next trip there or to the track!! Anyways, I saw a nice M2C on there at 9:24am this past Thursday.
So just curious if it’s one of our distinguished forum members. Plates were from Massachusetts. If it is it would be great to hear your thoughts on driving the area! |

TOD is nice, but if you want a real kick do the Back of the Dragon, Rte 16 north out of Marion; 32 miles of insane switchbacks https://www.backofthedragon.com/
I was lucky enough to do this early April '21, when there was still very little tourist traffic - these days I'd plan to get up at predawn to miss the lookeeloos. Lots of other great driving routes around the area too, just wish gravel wasn't the state bird. |
