I would call BMW Genius. They should be able to give you better information than the site. I believe that the site can be delayed versus the actual status.

I just gave them a call.

Production start Sept. 10 and production should finish Sept. 19.

I was told the exact same thing and mine is stuck at the "Production begins" as well.

Yeah so i was 39 and got moved to 43.
cancelled that order and found plenty available to collect now.
i got mine here:

BMW Elmhurst (Outside of Chicago) has 2 on their lot, with 1 more arriving this week. Ask for Mike Banach. MSRP.

Got the call from my SA yesterday that my car will be completed today. My BMW Garage still shows production begins, but the site is notorious for being behind.

I asked my SA to provide me with the name of the vessel once the car is on a ship. I should hopefully have this info next week. I will then be able to estimate the VPC arrival and final delivery at my dealership. I still figure another 5-6 weeks from today. The wait is awful.

I've been waiting almost 3 months for my dealership to get an allocation, it could be worse!

I have a really good relationship with them, so I would never buy elsewhere but this wait is really starting to kill me... If I take delivery of the car and there is snow on the ground I am going to be seriously pissed.

My car is still sitting at quality check since Tuesday. I called BMW Genius and they confirmed that this is normal. No boat for me this week. 😫

About a week, I'd expect it to complete today or tomorrow.

Lucky SOB. Genius told me mine's suppose to start this week. It was a week 47 but for some reason they said it's listed as 45 now. Still showing "Scheduled for production" though.

I have a week 48 as well that was moved up to week 45 and has been in "PRODUCTION BEGINS" status for 3 days. I'm happy as this should hopefully mean delivery before year end.

Mine got moved up also, it's now showing week 45 based on the screenshot I got from my dealer. Shows build complete on 11/10.

Got my allocation on Oct 13th.
Called BMW Genius on Oct.23rd and was told Week 47, took a day or two till my status was updated to "Scheduled for Production", still there at the moment. I'll call tomorrow and see if I've moved up to Production Begins.
