Motorsport24 lip just came in from Germany. I must be honest and say that most customers would be upset with the overall quality and appearance. Motorsport24 builds "racing parts" and they design them to take a beating. The M24 lip is extremely rigid and would hold up better than most other lips on the market. I sent a message to M24 and they said all new M2 lips will be built using pre-preg to improve on the quality.

I ended up deciding on the full PSM Dynamic Kit. In the process of being built and finished and sent from the west coast to the east where I'm at. Can't wait to see how this ends up. Thanks for all of the help and the recommendations, at the end of the day I wanted aggressive and PSM was the perfect amount for me. I'll post pics when installed. Thanks!!

If only there was a lip out there that looked like the M24 but also had a center section that attached to the bottom of the bumper ...

MTCdesign carbon fiber
Has anybody seen the quality of MTC Design carbon fiber front lip for the F87? I like 3DDesign, just a little bit too pricey.

If your intention is to give the car a different look, then yes the lip is very effective. But if it is from protection, it might not be the most cost effective solution. |

You only have (2) options: - Bumper repair (fix only the affected area and blend) - Entire bumper strip, repair (if necessary) and respray The lip will take the brunt of your next hit, but that an expensive layer of protection and no guarantee that the damage will only be to a very expensive lip. Hopefully it looks a lot better in other angles. But it has the same issue as all others in my opinion. It just ends with a sharp edge against the rounded corners. It looks so out of place. The center part looks quite nice.
I don't like the rounded corners at all on the stock bumper either, that is why I like the winglets. They make it look a bit better. |

The Vorsteiner on the page before might be the closest one. If you don't need it to be perfect, a body shop can sand it down with some touch up paint without costing an arm and a leg.

Splitter with brake ducts
I have seen an M3/4 front splitter that creates two small lower front air intakes that connect to brake duct hosing....is anything like that available for the 2?

These are all cute front lips, but does a company make one that actually generates real front end downforce?
