did it in my M5.. definitely top 5 bucket list. I put 1200 miles on the car and did a full break in though the Alps beforehand. I will be taking my BMWs there regularly in the next couple years:

The car is officially licensed and insured. I did it in my 335i and was a blast! The stock tires took a bit of a beating. Chance of a lifetime though! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

And as others have written: Just schedule your visit a bit later on your trip. |

I went there just to enjoy myself, had nothing to prove. Especially seeing a GTR crash right in front of me during my first lap.

Lots of information on this the on the F8X pricing and delivery sub-forum. The other option if you don't want to risk taking your new ED car on the Ring is to rent a track-prepared car with insurance. There is information about this on the Ring website.

There is no guarantee. A bad crash at opening could shut the track down for the rest of the day.
