OG seats available for order MY2020?

I guess the last thing that I need to settle is that while the new seats LOOK awesome- to be they are not that comfortable especially the bottoms- I like the thigh adjustment, new seats are harder and I like head rest adjustment. Sooo before I go and get sales people involved I would like to see if when I order my 2020 that I can order the "old" seats instead of the new ones? My wifes 2018 OGM2 are so much more comfortable to me. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you

I suspect you're better off trying to swap someone seats and getting cash. I'm sure there are many many many OG M2 owners that would do this in a heartbeat.

The only way to select the OG seats is to get your dealer to call BMWNA and see if they will allow you to do a special order for the OG seats.BMW Canada allows special orders,so maybe BMWNA will also allow you to do a special order.BTW,i agree with you,the OG M2 seats are much more comfortable than the M seats from the M3 and M4.

This! You will have people beating down your door wanting those M2C seats. You could probably make quite a bit of money on the trade.

Just get the interior with the blue stiching so it matches the OG seats.

Thank you and I will do exactly that. I have owned many a dam fine car- currently I have a Mercedes S550 Coupe with Poofy comfy seats with air bladders that fill and release as you lean into turns- but NO seats that I have ever sat in are as comfortable as the 435 Coupe seats that I sat in when I owned a 2105 4 series- not the M 4 but the 435. And the sport seats of the Original M2 and M235/240 are the same seats only slightly smaller- they dont look like they are that comfortable but they are. If I could fit those 4 series seats into my new M2...

Will be working details out over the next couple of weeks with my dealer and will then know the story- If I have to trade out I will be back on the forum when my car comes in- prolly around September.

Just curious as to why you wouldn't trade? BMWNA will charge you for the seats and then you'll have a extra set of seats (to sell presumably).

You could trade seats with a local guy and get some cash out of the deal without spending any money.

This is what I would do at least.
