They let you test drive?! 6 miles and on the showroom floor. Best purchase I've ever made.

Well....yes, but I was 99% sure I was getting the car, and I had convinced the SA of that fact, so I took a short one to be sure.

I’ll let you guys know my official odometer reading tonight. My car arrived at the dealer about an hour ago. If it’s over 10 miles I’m getting a bigger discount lol.

I wasnt able to drive it home the day I signed, so it stayed inside showroom until ready for pickup. Had both keys. Never saw rain, or irresponsible joyrides lol.
But what if it rained on it while it was waiting to get in a ship in Germany?

My sales associate told me today that he would push the car if he had to.
The truck should be getting to the dealership on Sunday, so I guess I'll find out on Monday how full of shit he is. :/

6 miles on mine and all plastic/wrapping was in tact! The car arrived perfect, just have to peel the wrapping off tomorrow when I get a chance to detail her.

Also, if anybody is ready to order an M2C under MSRP shoot me a message. My guy has a few allocations, I just ask that you don’t waste my time or his.

Edited to add some photos!

I was tempted to ask them to not remove any of the exterior plastic wrap, but I didn't want to get the car home and find some fucked spot and not be able to prove I didn't cause it. definitely asking them to leave the interior wrapping and tags on.

That was a concern of mine, but I wanted to unwrap it myself lol. I’ll find out tomorrow when I take it apart!

Another reason I wanted it to stay was for some protection in the ride back. I drove it home about two hours.

I agree -- I'd much rather be able to inspect the whole car thoroughly before I sign any paperwork. Would suck to find a dent or paint defect and then try to prove it wasn't your fault.

Mine had 3 km (equaling 2 miles) on it.

Dealer did a 4 mile test run after break-in service. Not sure why this was really necessary after just an oil change.

Hell even if you don't "let them" they do. Then give you an excuse... My buddy had his S4 worked on once, then noticed like a month later his insurance spiked. Well, he had that stupid insurance thing that monitors your driving. They said his car went over 100mph several times. Guess when it did that?..

I don't think I'm sane enough to let the car out of my sight.
The last time I took a car in for warranty work, I sat outside the bay door to make sure they didn't drive it anywhere.

Seriously, just fuck people.

Hey you remembered lol. Its something I still think about but I'd want the integration to be as seamless and OEM like as possible. Doesn't seem to be much support for it on this platform though. I'll have to see how things go. The car is way to new right now and I'm still just getting the feel for him.

Yes, I did.

I was trying to get someone's feedback on these..

I had priced it out with KW for $3,800 shipped for to the US last year but it has disappeared from their official website, since then. :

So you're right, unfortunately very little support for this option.

to reply to my own post, when I picked the car up it has exactly 4 miles. that seems to be the magic number for most people who order their cars.
