Yeah, I'm super stoked! After I ordered back in late Feb, I sort of "forgot" about it, since I knew it would take a while.

But now, it's starting to sink in that in a month or two, this baby's going to be in my garage!

Hi All,

My car is at the port and is about to be shipped over!

I recall seeing threads on pinpointing which ship the car will be on, and tracking that ship. Can someone chime in on how to do that?

I hope all my fellow MY2020ers will be on the same ship as mine!

“My BMW” status changed today, June 20, from at the port to in transit.

I called the sales tower at my dealer.

He said my BSM BW M2C 6MT was on the Victoria Highway, left Bremerhaven, Germany June 19, arrives Brunswick, Georgia July 4, expected delivery 7-10 days later.

It’s getting real.

I googled Marine Traffic. Entered ship name in search box. Played around and found the ship in the locks at Zebrugge, Belgium. Next stop, South Hampton, England.

It’s getting closer!

Right now, as I dream of driving it in the North Carolina mountains... I’m enjoying a Southern Draw Rose of Sharon cigar, and a fat glass of cold Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon, and a Perrier chaser.

Life is Good, I should make up some T-shirts and hats... oh wait, never mind.

Congrats, I got mine a little under a month ago off the lot on an impulse. Was actually omw to buy a 2010 e93 m3 as a beater dd and decided to just check out the local dealer. They somehow had one sitting on the lot that someone else wasn't able to get approved for.

Very similar story. I've been looking to get my first car for 4 months. Originally started looking at Civic Type-R, Subaru STI, Focus RS etc. I came across the M2C by reading rave review after rave review. The price was higher than my original range of 35-45K so I went to a dealership to quickly test drive. I kinda fell in love with it and have been a BMW fanboy my whole life with my father driving a bunch throughout my childhood.

I drove the M2C and fell in love. I slept on it for one night, went back to the dealership to place my order for ED. Now we are going to Munich in July to drive it around and I couldn't be more excited. Very, very happy this will be my first car.
