I love it, but for $350 I'll paint it myself!

Agreed!

An exchange program or possibly sending yours in for the paint service would be a great idea to lower the cost.

It does bring back a bit of that Pontiac look of the original M2. (ducks for cover)

Done. Just got it back from the body shop. Very nice job done by A&R Body in Wallingford CT if anyone in the CT area is interested in this option instead of the pre-painted grille discussed in this thread. This cost me much less than the replacement grille and it's the original grille that came with the car which I like. The body shop removed the grille to properly prep and paint it so that the paint wraps around the top and bottom. Very satisfied with the finish and I love the colored center giving the impression of separate kidney grilles.

Why didn't they paint it in C33 HS? Looks like a different shade of silver than the rest of the car in that picture.

Lol, my friend had one of those back in the day and spent a shitload of money on a Holden Monaro front end to get rid of the ugly Pontiac face.

They did paint it HS. Honestly, the light in front of my garage makes it look like the center piece is a shade off. It isn't. It's a great color match.

Can you post the link? Amazing, I can't believe any F8X M3/4 owners would do this...I'm just leaving my M2C alone because it doesn't mean that much to me.

Here's a video of one being "painted" black. It's actually vinyl but it's pretty much the same dumb idea.

I honestly thought it was a joke at first.
