Although there is a taped up M2 badge, the grill itself doesnt sit flush (look at the cchrome outer surround, almost like the grill isnt OEM spec yet.

I kinda thought the same thing, at first. But looking at the front end of finished M235 cars, the kidney grill does have a pronounced lip around it. IMO, what you see is what you'll get, only without the worn look.

Haven't seen this posted in this subforum. A decent look at LBB, but again, nothing like seeing it IRL.

it looks fine in person, sorta like an Infiniti/Nissan Caribbean Blue that they offered on the G35 & Nissan Altima during the early 2000's, only more luster.

Honestly, sounds kind of like the M235i with the MPE and a downpipe. That's not a bad thing.

Not too concerned about engine damage as this is a pretty standard thing to do. Fortunately, we don't have emissions testing in SC, so I get to run whatever the heck I want. Going catless on my E92 M3 not only sounds amazing, but the gains were nice too. I just wouldn't want to be the very first guy to run a tune or piggyback when the car is still brand new. You'll be just fine with an Akra axle back only. Not cheap though

Has anyone confirmed the exhaust sound on the video has, indeed, been recorded from outside the car? Or is it possible that the exhaust sound heard on the video track is just synthetically recreated exhaust sounds recorded from the sound system inside the car?
I guess the larger question is : will the car even have synthetically reproduced exhaust sounds piped into the cabin? |

Except the M550d all BMWs produce real exhaust sounds outside - if that's what you're wondering about. |

Speaking of rims, whatever happened to these:
I really liked them a lot. Actually, I much prefer these to the 5 spoke wheels on the recent cars.
