Yet another rim fitment question

Hi All,

The car is a M2C, Alcon CR6420 brakes, coilovers have 60mm springs 700/800lb.

I have yet to corner-balance / set the ride height, BUT I am looking for a square rim setup - 18 x 10, with 275/35-18 tires.

I have chatted with Apex, but no answer - at least not yet.

First simple (ya right) question, what rims would fit, I would prefer to not use spacers, but if that is what it takes, than I guess so...

Second simple question (it just gets better and better) here: What are my ride height limitations?

Thanks

Ray

18x10 +25 is pretty much the standard for 18x10 square. You can also do +33 from apex or +34 in TEs but then you need bigger spacers in front, but has easier rear fitment.

Either way you'll need a front spacer likely, at least 3mm or 5mm. Likely also around -3 front camber and -2 or more rear. Should clear fenders and stuff fine with the more aggressive alignment.

As per ride height, I think most suspension will have their own recommendation for ride height, for example my MCS setup from Bimmerworld recommends 1" above tire, which is where I'm at now. I tried lower but it hurt the performance of the suspension. Look into what your suspension setup suggests, or just go for around 1" above tire.

I run the Bimmerworld forged 18x10 wheels, 33 mm offset with 12 mm spacers upfront. Figment is better than the smaller offset wheels which stick out in the rear.
