Just goes to show that removing the de-tune on the M2C would make it a monster. Possibly uncontrollable - who knows.

No wonder BMW advertised the "Weight optimized" stock tune for the M2C like it was a feature. It could barely get off the line without lighting up the rear wheels.
Anymore power and it would just be violently spinning tires and going no where fast, like the pre-LCI M4 used to be. Also, no one mention that the M4 has wider rear tires. I believe it's 265 vs 295, a notable advantage to the M4. I'm seeing now why BMW is going AWD for the next gen M4 |

Was excited about this until I saw the M2 was manual and the M4 DCT. Why even bother doing a test like this when it's not like for like.
The fact it's also been raining heavily makes it a wasted opportunity also. Hopefully they'll redo a more comparable and like for like video in the future.

Next race will be an i3 vs an X7 on a gravel track in a blizzard at an attempt to gain a truly balanced, fair, and unskewed result. The i3 will have an autonomous driver as well.
