Unfortunately, I think they are stuck with it until the airbag is replaced. One of the salesmen said something about borrowing the M2 for the weekend so I told him he could drive the orange one. He said he wasn't allowed because of the airbag deal. I was like airbag whaaaat?

Well, so far I feel like they are totally different cars and can't really be compared. At least in my opinion. This car is so much more planted and easier to go fast, it's bigger and I think way more upscale.

The 1M is smaller, more tossible, crazy and wants to kill you. I can take corners now that I would have been scared to take in 1M. Right now I would say the 1M was more fun but that might change once I can rev past 5k rpms.

Congratulations. I have to say - that 1M was a beauty. Great shots!!

I can't wait for my M2 to be delivered to my Home on the day I get back from my Business trip.

Congrats to all M2 owners getting this car early. I love how only Car enthusiast only know about this right now....going to bring this stunner to work!!

How does the engine compare in the N54 1M? Does it feel very similar? How is the sound compared to the N54? Do you miss the engagement of the 1M's manual gearbox or are you happy with dual clutch so far? What made you pick dual clutch coming from the 1M?

BMW has a nationwide stop sale on cars with Takata airbag recall. I'm surprised they took your 1M trade, some BMW dealers won't take any cars on trade that have airbag recall with no planned fix in place.

Congrats on taking delivery of the M2.Great looking pics of both cars.So you traded in your 1M to the dealer that you purchased the M2.Wouldn't you have been able to sell it for quite a bit more privately?

That's going to be the challenge, keeping the revs bellow 5K while still putting a good load on the engine. Personally I can't wait to have that challenge.
