Ooof. I guess you should take advantage of a black Friday sale to get it down to 1800.

This is a CS and not a CSL.
If you refer back to the E46 CS and CSL, the CS was nowhere near as special. Are you expecting too much?

Yes typo. The interchanged the reverse gear with the final drive ratio on both transmissions.

The M2 CS to many forum members may seem like a rip off and not worth the cost, and that may hold some truth to it. However, as an enthusiast, and seeing constant bashing of the direction where the "M" brand is headed, I welcome these variations. I probably am not down to pay the premium for it, as I own a "civic" m4, but at the very least, BMW is still producing something geared more towards a real M car and cater to the motorsports enthusiasts. Whether it be for their own sales growth or not, it frankly shouldn't matter to anyone; they are a mass production car company. The other direction BMW M division can go is to continuously further dilute the M badge - I'll take the fore.
My only gripe for these CS / GTS models are that I wish they changed more things on the motor. Bigger displacement, different internals, etc instead of just a tune. GTS sort of went that route with the water cooling, but I'd like to see something more than just a tune to make these cars more special. Sort of like the E92 GTS with its larger displacement motor. TL;DR Welcome real M cars, please make more |

Are you sure Euro Delivery is going to be available? I'm #1 on my list going for ED too. Saw that they discontinued the ED program on 2019 M4CS...really hoping we still get the chance to do it.

My dealership is BMW directly and not privately owned. Therefore, I have that option. Only two allocations they are getting which is confirmed. I am first on my build. |

The MSRP will be the deciding factor. I love the wheels, hood and CF roof, which you can't get on any other M2. If the price is right, this will be the M2 to get for new customers. Current M2 owners can be comfortable with the fact that the CS doesn't make the previous M2's obsolete, it's just got some incentives for us who haven't gotten an M2 as of yet. It's the same thing for the M3 CS and M4 CS when they were announced.

My opinion is that the price will make or break this car. Look at the competition (no M2 Competition, i mean actual competition for the car), there are a lot of options for $80K that aren't based on a 2 series.
