Picking the car up tomorrow. Finished. The shop says it sounds great but that is all subjective. I hope it sounds great to my ears.

Resonator has been spliced in and curious if anyone else has done this?

I used the stock resonator.
It was done at R1 Motorsport. I put a couple of youtube videos on the previous page I believe.

He is top notch.

At normal cruising It is barely noticeable. Flaps open or closed. I don't want to jump the gun but seems quieter than the stock. No drone at highway speeds.

Flaps closed WOT it sounds about the same as stock.
WOT flaps open and it's definitely louder than stock but not as loud as some I have heard. Probably because res. deleted.
It does turn heads.
I'm happy. but to each his own.

Awesome man. So just to reiterate you have the resonator spliced in? And no drone for sure?

Would you be able to record the sound inside the cabin with windows closed in comfort and sport with flaps closed and open as the rpm is going from 2000 to 3500 pretty please.
Preferably while driving.

I'm taking the car for a long drive mid next week. I will get some sound pics inside.

I didn't get any pics but I'll have the car on jacks bleeding the brakes this weekend and a pad change. I'll try to get pics to show location.

Got mine back today and I have a very noticeable difference than stock. Flaps closed, not so loud, but flaps open, it's quite loud. I did add the resonator but still have some drone. I'll report back after a few hundred miles in case it's just due to being the first drive. I will say the drone isn't enough to change my mind about the exhaust but if it were way louder without having added the resonator, I might second guess

I have my stock exhaust. What kind of work would I be asking a shop to perform by splicing in my stock resonator onto my already installed MPE?

I think I have to drive mine more. I didn't notice a drone. My car will be out of commission for a couple of days.
I will get back back with you guys mid-week. Going up to Arrowhead. I'll get some sound clips then.

Do you have a 6MT? To me it was noticeable instantly because of shifting points being in the drone-zone. Resonator from stock system seemed like it could be a good fix. I was just a little nervous to try without someone else installing first.

Any updates you have are very helpful! Thanks!!

Thank you monochrom3
You have a 6MT, very curious to hear more about how it sounds in the drone range.
