Just for reference:

Here is the dyno chart for an F82 M4 in stock form and then with our Valvetronic Exhaust installed on a Dynojet.

Bobby, I take it you know which drivetrain setting to use for the dyno....sport, sport+, MDM, DCT off....your M235 should have the same settings with maybe the exception of MDM. I'm sure we want to limit wheel spin as much as possible but also have the most aggressive setting.

You are correct.

It would take a ton of power to spin the rollers on our dyno. But we will make sure we have it in the best possible setting for you to make the most power.

Once his downpipe is finished up fabrication we are going to connect and schedule up a time for him to come in!

My DP is complete and the install date is set for this Thursday at 7 am at Fabspeed HQ. Granted, that's not an ideal time for an audience but this thing needs to get installed already. The procedure will be as follows:

baseline dyno w/o sport tuner (stock with exception of Dinan exhaust and cold air intake)
baseline dyno with sport tuner set to race
sport cat downpipe installation
dyno run w/o sport tuner
dyno run with sport tuner

I want to get as many variables tested for everyone's benefit when deciding to go with these two components. Also, my stage 4 should be arriving in 2 weeks so these dyno runs will be a good indicator as to how much power is really gained. I'm sort of a financial guinea pig here. Stage 4, with installation and tax, is costing me $6200. Dinan does offer a 3 day return policy if not completely satisfied but this does not include labor, $2000 in my case. SeanWRT, keep your eyes peeled for an incoming email with graph attachments for you to kindly upload.

Happy to assist! Please take break in between to ensure no heat soak issues as I know your car is with stock IC.

Let me guess... a 35WHP gain in max power you'll be seeing

There will definitely be a break in between the DP install runs (about 2 hours). Problem is, I'm going to be there probably for about 3-4 hours as is. I, as well as the tech and bean counters, doesn't want to sit around waiting for the engine to cool. Outside temps will be in the lower 40s F. Maybe they can keep the bay door open as well as running a fan directly over the engine.

A 35whp max (not peak) will be more than acceptable.

This thread is tough to follow. I'm curious the power for:
- Just the Fabspeed Sport Cat DP
- DP + Dinan Sport Tune

Does anyone actually have those numbers yet?

beauty, my ass. Maintaining cleanliness is impossible even with the ceramic coating. It's my only real complaint about this car so far.

I agree. The brake dust is definitely a challenge and the salt and potholes all over these PA roads doesn't help either.

My Fabspeed HFC is coming today Gonna wait till spring to put it in as the car is away for this winter. But I can't wait to stare at it

Also looking forward to the numbers with the Dinan unit. I have the JB+ but I think that they basically do the same thing.
