Today i installed the LED Door Projectors. It was a very easy swap. Now it illuminates the M logo to the ground. Fancy.
Also checked the BMS OCC 'cos i removed it for the 2000 km service. It collected approximately 0,5 dl fluid during 1000 km.

New DD wheels are installed, square setup. I think it looks good.
I measured the factory and the new wheel weights with tyres.
Factory front: 21,8 kg.
Factory rear: 24,1 kg.
Borbet GTX: 23,7 kg.

I will update the picture with a better quality later, but this morning it was still quite dark when i made this.

Tano, on couple of pictures I notice that your front suspension has a bit higher cap than standard m2.

Maybe the angle/light of your image caused me to be paranoid, but did the dealer properly unpacked your car on arrival?

Do you have a part number for the lower black M Performance side decals? I have them on my 235 and love how it changes the shape of the car. All I can find for parts for my 2018 M2 are clear decals and I'm specifically looking for black like yours.

Thanks!

I think it's just the optic, cos i didn't see any bumpstop when i changed my wheels.

That's because there is no black for the M2. So i ordered the M235/240 specific. It fits well although the guy at the PPF shop who did the job said it was not easy to put them on because the side skirt of the M2 has a bit deeper shape. But it can be done as you see.

I would love some close up shots if you have the time in the next few days. Curious how much extra material there is on the front and bottoms. Thank you!

Here are two shots from the front and from the bottom. Sorry for the mud, but the roads were damp this morning. I can say that there is enough material to cover all of the front and the bottom.

Yesterday i had the time to install the wheel studs. I have chosen 78 mm long ones to keep margin for possible spacers in the future if needs arise. I managed to broke one 5mm bit head during install 'cos it couldn't whitstand enough torque. Fortunately i had another stronger one in my toolbox.

Finally after a long wait the RKP diffuser arrived yesterday. Today i managed to install it in an hour. I tried to be cautious with the clips not to break anything. I used 2 pry tool to release the clips. The new diffuser needed quite a force to put it in place but it fits and looks good.

Further updates today. I installed the red start-stop button as a cosmetic change and the seat belt holders to reach it easier.

Hi Tano,

My installer has asked which type of ORACAL you used - as there are several varieties.

Any chance you could clarify which one you used?

Here's the list:

Thank you!

I don't know the exact type which my installer used but my guess is the 8500.

The LED door projectors has this part number: 63312414105

The BMS OCC can be found here. I ordered the N55 type. It's suitable for the M2 although they mention only the E chassis.
