Just drove it for the first time after coding. Holy shit is it good! Euro MDM is a joke in comparison.

Now I have to code in the GTS steering too

If you go into the EPS module there is a GTS option and depending on what version of istep you have there might even be an F87CS option.

I think if you have a 2016 or early 2017 you might see it, but newer cars won't have it as an option.

I unfortunately didn't see the CS but here is a screen shot from someone on the f80 forum who had it:

Mine didn't look like that though, it looked like this:

Would've been fun to see what it was like but oh well, at least I have the GTS MDM and EPS. Good enough for me.

I'm pretty sure cookiesowns has M2CS EPS though.

That’s only DSC. I don’t recommend coding GTS GHAS. Haven’t done it myself. Might be worth it if you’re tuned for more lock up. But the balance as is with GTS DSC and stock M2 EDIFF is perfect isn’t it

Yup I have M2 CS EPS. Love it. The stock was too artificially weighted for me. Now it’s perfect.

It came out somewhere around mid 2017 ISTEP. So if your car isn’t updated it won’t have it.

EPS you can update by hand without doing a full ISTEP.

Have you tried GTS EPS? Any idea how different/similar it is to M2CS EPS?

Yes. Much different. Think of M2 regular but just a bit heavier and direct but not artificially weighted.

M2CS feels a bit more “nimble”

I think I’ll like the GTS better on track but the M2CS daily.

I just coded M2CS EPS (thanks for the tip!), and I'd agree, it is quite a bit heavier. I actually thought I'd broken something once I finished coding because in Comfort it's heavier than the regular M2 coded Sport mode.

I hurt my shoulder throwing my kids in the pool last weekend, and it's still healing. The added heaviness made my arm ache. I know, I'm a pussy!

I think it will take some getting used to, and there is not much additional communication through the steering, but it does feel a bit less assisted and that's therefore better.

Worth trying out for sure!

Huh... hrm... M2CS was less “heavy” for me overall. It has less of the random “power boost” assist but overall was lighter than stock by just a smidge.

I might be referring to the artificial weighting/Re centering.

These subjective things are so tough to describe.

Motorsports24 / Carbonara Racing Mirror / M Performance Wheel

The last eight days was quite an expensive for me but owh so worth it as I decided to keep my four week old 2018 M2 instead of selling it off to get an M2 Comp.

Installed the following items:
Motorsports24 Vented Hood
RKP Composite Front Lip, Rear Diffuser and Trunk Spoiler
Carbona Racing Replacement M-style Mirror Caps
BMW M Performance Steering Wheel

Came out of work and had to take a picture of it before hopping in and driving home. Love the stance from the front view.
