M2 Competition S55 Stage 1 Settings:

I have been playing around with the BM3 and I have arrived at what I believe to be perfect settings for my taste. Here are my settings in case anyone wants to give them a try or comment:

Stage 1, 93 octane (98 RON) mapping.

Stock hardware, no modifications.

Custom Settings:
- Exhaust Burble Type = OEM
- GTS Startup Roar = ON
- Speed Limiter VMAX) = OFF
- Exhaust Flap (Sport) = OPEN
- Boost By Gear (% Reduction):
• 1st % Reduction = 30%
• 2nd % Reduction = 20%
• 3rd % Reduction = 10%

The car feels extremely smooth and powerful and I believe that these settings combine the best of the Stage 1 and the CS+ map features.

The car now has a very linear and controllable power delivery torque curve while maintaining the power and top end of the Stage 1 tune.

Hope this helps!

Mine is a 2019 and the DME software has not been updated.
Stage 1 on 93 Octane is around 500whp verified by multiple dynos from PTF and various member of the forums.

Awesome. Gonna I want to flash my M2c soon. Mine is also on the old software. I just installed ISTAD and got it connected to my car today. Want to see BMW specific error codes before and after tune.

Nice thanks for the feedback did you do this install yourself, or did a shop do it for you? I'm wanting to do something but I don't want to void my warranty so I'm been watching and leaning about different things to do to mine(well wife). Thanks for posting.

Yes, I did the installation myself in less than 5 minutes. There is really nothing to it and there are many video on YouTube that demonstrate just how simple the process is.

Ok thanks for that I will do a little research, It's my wife daily driver but when I drive it I like to enjoy it. I don't abuse the car just like drive it like it needs be driven. Sounds like this will be the correct upgrade .Thanks for the reply back.

Only a custom tune with a more gradual torque curve would be better.

You will love it even more after few hundred miles as the car really adopts to the tune. Haven't really played with the boost by gear though. Currently on stage 2 with catless DP.
