I would recommend nut certing the guard vs using the clips they send you, they protrude against the plastic bumper causing it to deflect some. It should be seamless which nut certing the mounting holes should do up front.

Sorry but could you post a pic of what kind of a nut cert you recommend? Is that the same thing as a rivet nut?

Yes, same as the one they provide you with for mounting the parking blocks only a smaller m4 or m5 whatever size allows the bolt to pass through the bumper holes. Nut cert, riv nut, poh tay toh poh tah toe

I just installed mine today and a few comments...

Parking block - what's its purpose? Such a pain to get back on there that I gave up. I don't need it right?

Clips + guard push the bumper out a bit more than I would like... Not sure what a fix would be though.

All in all I got through it fine, it would have been better with instructions for the M2 and not the M4 though.
