Anyone done MILVS retrofit on their F87 s55 ?

1st I hear of this. Must be pretty exp to fit no? Seems like the mod one does after a whole bunch of other things. Although on a track car this could be great to make the area under the curve nice and fat.

Yeah not a fun job, you have to remove the fuel rail, fuel lines, valve cover, lock in timing, remove the valve springs with a special tool which is not fun since they're under a lot of tension, and the put it all back in which also requires need valve cover seals etc. If you diy it'll be time consuming and a huge PITA, but the only costs are the parts and tools which is not too bad. If you get a shop to do it you will probably have to pay alot in labor.

Not really clear on the website how much of the gain is from the mod and how much from the tune. Looks like 5HP and 8FtLbs? $500+ replacement gaskets and labor/time. Meh.
