Carpro Cquartz 3.0 vs Blackfire Pro?

Starting to think about sealants. I've used CG's Jet Seal and was very, very disappointed. So, I started doing some reading on here and other places about good quality sealants. The above are the two that I'm really looking into.

I know there is a lot out there for Cquartz but not too many talking about Blackfire Pro. I've seen good things about both, opinions especially about Blackfire Pro? It seems VERY easy (almost too easy) to apply with no buffing.

Thoughts?

I've used both and prefer Blackfire Pro by a wide margin. It's been consistently easy to apply/remove in different environments and a second coat can be applied immediately.

Longevity depends on how it's maintained. It's been on my car for two years and hasn't lost a beat, but I use Wolfgang's Uber Si02 Coating Wash on a regular basis.

The other coating I think is just as good (or slightly better) is Gtechniq CSL.

Just an fyi the products in question are ceramic coatings not sealants like Jetseal. Jetseal was always crap I don't know why it ever caught on with detailing.

Blackfire makes solid products so you can't really go wrong in terms of performance. Best of luck.

Oops, you're right. Should have caught that myself.

I am going to try the BF and I'll report back. Fingers crossed...

Do you think it would be a good coating over PPF ?

I believe it will work fine but I've never done it so can't say for sure.

I do know CarPro and Gtechniq both make products specifically designed for PPF (Skin & Halo), so if you have PPF and haven't bought Blackfire Pro yet it might make sense to go with Skin or Halo since you have to spend the $ either way.
