AC Schnitzer Coilovers vs M Performance??

So... I'm awaiting delivery of my 2021 M2C which should arrive in three weeks.

I want to have coilovers installed when I take delivery and I also want to keep the warranty intact. According to the dealer here (in Germany) the only two options that will not void the warranty are M Performance and AC Schnitzer. The AC Schnitzer units are cheaper and have the ability to go lower (up to 40mm) and the M Performance are more expensive and will only go down to 25 mm. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the AC Schnitzers ride quality as I can't find any reviews on them.

My head tells me to get the M performance since they have mostly great reviews but my heart is telling me that I'll be disappointed later when they won't go as low as I want.

Have any of you used the AC Schnitzers and if so...what are your thoughts??

I have the M Performance coilovers, in my opinion they go more than low enough than anyone would possibly need.

The ride is noticeably firmer but not crashy, on track they have literally transformed the car. Very impressed

Aren't they pretty much the same, both KW V3 based systems with rebranding and minor tweaks?

Cant imagine the M perf won't go low enough for you...unless you want it totally slammed.

Lots of pics on this forum of M perf so you can get an idea of the ride height.

I like my cars low, but not tucked, and in that regard the MPS is literally perfect at 595/600. However, I can see why some guys would want the rear a bit lower (like 5-10mm). It's also very hard to tell in pictures, as it really depends on the angle of the sun, and the angle to the car.

I can tell you that with the MPS all the way down in the back I don't want it any lower IN REAL LIFE, but there are some pictures I have taken where I was like, hmmm, could go a bit lower. It's just a trick of light.

Here's a few pix to show you what I mean. All are the same height, and all the way down in the rear.

The only other thing I'll say is that a lot of it is the shadow on the tire, either by its shape, or its size. For example, merely fitting the Cup 2 on my car would make it appear a little lower, as it doesn't have as large of a rim bead. Or fitting the common 255/275 size that is so popular would do the same thing.

It's hard to believe that the specific make/model of tire can make such a huge difference, but it can.

Here's an example on a Lotus Exige. They are both 265/35...

NOTICE the rim bead, which is massive on the Pirelli (first pic), and changes the entire shape of the sidewall.

I have the M Performance coilovers and they have settled lower than the initial 595/600. At the initial height and now being lower, I have to worry about scraping dips in the roads. I'll probably be adjusting to 600/605.

That said, I wouldn't worry about going lower.
