If I'm understanding the NewTIS manual correctly, I think I can just remove the 3 nuts and bolts connecting the flex disc to the transmission flange and leave the flex disc attached to the front of the driveshaft |

According to the NewTIS manual, the black bolts are left untouched and the silver bolts are removed https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...ion/1VnYrsHP3W In theory, it would allow the driveshaft and the flex disc to be removed at the same time Perhaps there is something I'm just not understanding |

I feel like 20% reduction really is the sweet spot for a daily driven car that may see a couple of track days per year. Any more reduction and the shifts might start feeling a bit heavier than I'd like, especially in traffic. Also, my hearing isn't the greatest, but I'm using the CF M Performance shifter and I have not noticed any whirring noise coming from the shifter since the SSK was installed which a couple of folks had mentioned earlier in this thread. For what it's worth, I swapped the knob onto my stock blue stitching shift boot, rather than keep it on the white stitch boot it came with. No complaints with this setup. |

I can't quite tell from the online pics-- I'm not an Alcantara fan, but if it's leather, I'm your huckleberry. TIA. R. |

Just hang tight. He's got good rep so no need to worry about anything suspicious. Unless of course you're desperately trying to change your specs, then yeah that might be a problem. |

Perhaps the standard 2 series (non-M2, non-MP) shifter comes with a leather boot. You could source that and try putting the CF knob over it. |

Ah ok, I paid then he started making it soemtime after, I though that's how he operated?
He said he waited for sufficient paid orders for the same model then made a batch rather than single build. It was about 6 weeks from payment to deliver for mine. |

Question for those with the Ultimate Clutch Pedal.
How does it change the pedal action? I don't mind the part where the springs engage, I just want to get rid of the inch or so dead space at the top to bring it in line with the brake. I find I have to lift my whole leg to engage the clutch, ideally I could pivot off my heel and only lift slightly. Does it make the pedal action stiffer? Appreciate the feedback! |
