I have tried the GTS flash a few times on my DCT M2. First time round I left it a week but in the end didn’t enjoy it. Found the down shifts and up shifts could be delayed and slow, almost confusing for the gearbox.
I then tried the flash again some months later and am still using it now. I’m not sure if the GTS flash was updated as I see it’s version 2.0 now. My findings now are: -each mode still has its specific throttle and steering settings. No changes there. -auto mode shifting will hold onto the revs generally between 2-2.5krpm with minimal throttle input. Medium throttle input is more 3.5-4.5krpm. Perfect for my DD driving, for any spirited fun I’m in manual. -comfort mode now has more aggressive shifting characteristics. You can feel this on the upshifts and there is no soft downshifts. The car will rev match in any mode. -traction mode still has no burbles. ***** -maybe the biggest finding was how the car behaved when I enabled the cold start function to oem again. These slow, confusing shifting characteristics came back like my 1st experience, it really was terrible. Turned cold start off again and the gearbox reverted back to how I described above. ***** If anyone has their cold start enabled and had strange shifting characteristics when they ran the GTS flash I’d suggest they try turning cold start off and test. |

Does your display show "C" when in auto mode. Regardless of mode mine always display "C".
As I understand this means it's always in COMFORT when auto mode. How do you disable cold start. |

The cars' reaction in automode are now pathetic. It's always stuck in comfort. Feels like I am driving a 70's era Oldsmobile.
Where in BM3 does one disable the cold start. |

To be honest your experience sounds like mine the first time round. The option to turn cold start off is in the configuration tab under my maps.

I did disable cold start, but it made no difference. Flashed transmission back to stock.
According to the guys from PTF it should not be stuck in comfort but it is. All I really wanted was to have faster and smoother shifts. The trade off is not worth it. Update: This happens with the N55 only. Wish someone had said that before. The GTS was the main reason I bought the BM3. Last edited by MZWIE; 02-01-2019 at 12:23 PM.. |

Also I think you might be able to get your money back if you don't like it. |

I have run the GTS software for many trackdays now and to me it is way better than the original software. I also like it better on the street, but I never use my transmission in auto and I mean never. It is much smoother and faster and even in Sport+ I like it a lot more than original, not that I use Sport + much as I normally use Sport on the street and DCT fully off on the track. I have not installed it via BM3 even if I have it, it was installed at G-Power. |

Has anyone flashed the GTS/CS TCU tune using MHD and can report back? I’ve got MHD Stage 2+ (98RON) tune installed with cold start removed.
