30k miles!

Just hit 30k miles. It’s been a blast and it’s going to continue. I have been driving BMWs for 15 years and this was my first M car. The best that I have had. You can’t compare this car to the one’s I have had before or any other model outside of the M series. It’s completely different. What an experience it has been.

I leased this car in Nov 2020 and will finance in November. When I drove out the dealership in Nov 2020, I knew that I was going to drive this thing and not give it back. It’s really hard to leave this car parked. If I showed all of you my Capital One statement, it’s all fuel purchases lol you guys know how small the gas tank is.

I’m not feeling the G87, especially looks wise. Maybe in the future if the Comp drops with X drive, it might change my mind. Other than that, the F87 has been the ultimate driving machine.

nice! I just hit 30k not long ago. Still love the car too. Small gas tank would get really annoying if I drove it a lot but for the occasional weekend drive and track day its fine.

I'm coming up on 4 years! What a journey! I truly love this car and has been my favorite after 22 years of BMW (well, it is my first M car). I'm never selling mine either

I've also exactly hit 3 years of ownership of mine today, I think I'll be keeping mine also, it's definitely the best car I've owned

Congrats! It's truly a great car. Today is the 5th anniversary of buying the M2C for me. 19k miles now and love the car for all the reasons stated by everyone plus more (been driving, tracking, autocrossing, time trialing BMWs since the 1970s). I never believed I would enjoy the S55 as much as I have. Granted, it's not quite there in throttle response/control like the individual throttle body S65 V8 in my E90 M3, but it's actually an amazing engine, especially for everyday non-track driving around here. I wish I could swap over the hydraulic rack from the M3 -- then it'd be perfect.

The Roma is a very comfortable car to drive! the steering ratio is also lightning quick so it makes it very easy to use around town. Haven't had the chance to take it out on track yet but the straight line speed is definitely fast.

The S65 on the M3 was a monster. Never drove one but got to hear it plenty of times. The S55 is an amazing engine like u said. I was worried by the sound. Once I did the break in and with the MPE on it, that all changed! I have forgotten about the engines in my previous BMWs. I have no memory of the N54, N55 and the B58 lol

Just hit 30k myself, en route home after a weekend at Watkins Glen. She continues to amaze and delight.

Having just 8k miles on the clock I love how you guys with 30k+ are still so excited about this car! I’m just two years in, but have the same plan as many of you to keep this little monster a loooong time! I just does it all and is huge fun in doing it. It’s getting prepped for winter hibernation, but I’m already smiling about next summer at the track and just ripping it on remote fun roads.
