BM3, Burbles, and ASD

I know this has been discussed in some various threads, but thought I'd try to consolidate everyone's latest findings.

I finally had the loss of burble issue when I did a quick flash today. PTF said to click Enable ASD in the Diagnostics screen to get them back, and the burbles came back.

However, I had coded ASD off a couple years ago via Bimmercode, and now I'm wondering if the ASD fake engine sound is back? I didn't get chance to drive on the highway at cruising speed to listen when it's really noticeable.

For guys that have had this similar issue, have you been able to keep the ASD fake engine noise off while getting your burbles back?

If I recall correctly, the parameters that PTF uses for ASD is different from bimmercode.

Cant confirm for you with my car though since I use the hardware bypass
