Not sure the M3 or M4 CS have a section.

M2CS the new benchmark!

You should of placed the "CS" on the top of the model's menu subsection, to troll insecure non-CS owners, since you know, it's the superior tier in the food chain and all..

I noticed that a couple of M2 CS threads had vanished. Then I saw the dedicated M2 CS section. So I transferred more M2 CS threads to that new section.

No dedicated M3/M4 CS section exists, though:

That would be up to forum admin. My personal thoughts are that the CS is similar enough to the rest of the lineup that a separate forum is unnecessary. Competition models have never had their own forum, and the CS could arguably be described as "ZCP Stage II".
Making multiple forums for different trim levels of the same car is a slippery slope. Yes, the M2C got its own forum, but that car actually replaced the original M2 completely so that made some sense. And the M4 GTS forum serves as a place to talk about its unique water injected engine, suspension, etc.
And what about the new 330i and M340i? They are no more similar to one another than an M3 Competition and M3 CS are (arguably less so, in fact). If the CS gets a forum, then you have to oblige M340i owners with their own forum too. Next thing, someone wants a "ZTP" specific forum, or an M Sport package forum, and who knows what else.
Just my 2 cents.

In my opinion, there was no choice but to create an F87 M2 CS forum since there was an F87 M2C forum. It was confusing, especially for newcomers, to have the top model and the former entry level model share a forum while the mid tier model had its own.

For the next generation G87, I would expect the M2 and M2C to arrive on the market together like every other current day M product, and they should naturally use the same forum again like every other M section on Bimmerpost. Later when the M2 CS arrives it also won't need its own forum. Now, if there's a CSL model, and if it is as distinguished and limited as the F82 M4 GTS model, perhaps it'll receive its own dedicated forum like that model has.

Interesting perspective that I believe lends credence to the CS being a good buy even though it's a tad over priced.

Yeah, that was me who petitioned for a dedicated M3/4 CS subforum, but no go...maybe now

That's funny. In all fairness. If I didn't need backseats I might have ordered a spyder with pdk. The look of the GT4 is fantastic.
