Swapping an F30 Brake Pedal for Easier Left Foot Braking
I've only had my M2 a couple hundred miles, but one of the things that's annoyed me is how uncomfortable it is to left foot brake in it. It wasn't till I took a look at the pedals and compared them to my F31 that I noticed the M2's brake pedal was much slimmer. Well, it turns out you can easily swap the larger pedal from an F2x/F3x automatic transmission car into an F8x one to get a larger pedal!

Mandatory mod for the dct M2 imo, I fitted the large F20/30 brake pedal also.
As a long time tarmac rally/race competitor (21 years) I instinctly left foot brake whether it be manual (I also have 2 manual rally/race cars) or dct. Modern electronics don't allow left foot braking on some modern cars (which may be BMWs reason) but you can usually get around this. This is my 5th performance car with a dct transmission & all except the BMW had a large sized pedal that allowed for 2 foot driving. What's the use in building a performance car with a performance transmission if you can't drive it in a performance manner, it defeats the purpose. No doubt this mod will go over the head of many on here who simply won't understand. *important to remember to transfer your original brake light switch over to the new pedal (they are different internally).

Did this on my E92 M3 with an E90 pedal as well; makes left foot braking super comfortable. Left foot braking ftw

OH!!! Another thing that needs to go on the list of stuff to do.
I'm foot ambidextrous and use my left foot for braking the moment I get into performance mode or wanna make the chassis play around.

FWIW I noticed in pics of the M2 CS-R that it comes with the larger 105mm brake pedal.

Those that only drive with 1 foot likely won't understand the requirement for the large brake pedal but left foot brakers & experienced track users definitely will, as can be seen above.
