It is small, about $1249 for my car, but would end up spending that on MP stuff anyways, not like BMW would totally lose the money. Now though, I'm going to try and do everything in my power to not spend anything extra on MP stuff, I'll go aftermarket for everything.
Any idea if the credit was vetoed for Canada only, and US BMWCCA members/M2 buyers will get it?

Trust me, I looked into it because I could literally have sex with that car, but unfortunately the R is too expensive right now for my budget.
Check this out: http://www.jaguar.ca/en/current-offers/index.html

$749+tax with 6,899 down for 36 mths. I didn't look much into details, but probably add another 250-300 to get it to 0 down + hst and you will get to $1,100's. Of course, if you go deep into the options, that's another story

That's for the standard F-Type with no options and let's be honest, nobody is buying those. If you move to the S or R it gets crazy.

EDIT: should note that I would not hesitate one second to sell my M2 for a F-Type R. Drove one last summer and regretted it ever since. That exhaust note

Anyone knows if BMW Canada wil honor fidelity, corporate or graduate rebate on the BMW M2? It is a real bummer if they do not honor BMW Club rebate... I was going to register to my local club for future rebates, but I am now considering NOT to register?

Now the M2 they say you can't use the Trillium BMW club discount? Well if that is case, then if I negotiate with dealer they are will not be charging me for a)mats, b)wheel locks ,c)nitrogen in tires or security etching d)a free tank of gas. Other than that I would pay MSRP and their stupid admin fee.

You are lucky, mine is still just a dream as it is only status 047... (at least it was last time I received news from my SA).

It will be interesting to see how many customer ordered cars are delivered by the April 16 launch date. Most people on the forum are either doing the European Tour or are still waiting for there production month to be confirmed by BMW.

I think once u have a vin, u can call BMW Canada to track. No online tool for Canada however..that would be too sophisticated for us apparently.

Congrats, this confirms your car will be here in approximately 6 weeks.
When did you place your order? This should give some of us an idea of where we are in the food chain.... Assuming BMW Canada is allocating cars on a first ordered basis.
Thanks

Unfortunately, I do not think there is any logic with BMW Canada.

Just looked back through some old emails to get exact dates. I placed a $1000 deposit on October 22nd, 2015, at which time I was told I was #4 on the list at BMW Gallery here in Calgary. They also mentioned in this email that Calgary BMW had #7 people on the waitlist.

On December 21st, they received pricing information and forwarded it on to me, asking for an additional $4000 and asked me to act fast if I wanted to ensure to get one of limited 2016 models they were expecting. I went ahead with it and they told me to expect the car for mid April 2016.

Then got a message on Feb 22nd that my order had been given a March production date and would be received end of April or early May. Also told that I had moved up to number 1 on the list (I assumed those ahead must have dropped out) and would be the first at BMW Gallery in Calgary to receive an M2.

I always get free gas, etching and wheel locks. They gave me mats for my X1. This time I don't know what I'll ask for, but I might see if I can swindle a CF spoiler.

The club discount doesn't have to be honoured for any model, I'd say especially the M2. The car comes loaded for 61 grand, that's only a couple more than the M235i. I suspect thats their reasoning.

BMW makes the rules and we decide if we want to buy the car based on their rules... they will sell every single one regardless of the BMWCC discount. I wish it were available but it won't change my decision either way.

According to my SA, BMW Canada said they will respect the order in which dealers entered their orders (Except for Euro delivery). Hopefully he is right and this still stands.
Now, that order goes to the dealer and the dealer has the possibility to give it to another customer should they choose not to respect their list.

Thank you for the info. I placed my order on Dec 30, I am still hoping for a late summer/early fall delivery.
Enjoy your car.
