You are right. My BMW sales rep has confirmed the info. A $61K M2 is a fully loaded car and the only available option is the DCT transmission.

if a US resident could somehow manage to import one from Canada they would basically be paying 45KUSD msrp but im pretty sure BMW will put up huge barriers

Just contacted my SA and he still does not have any confirmation on price/availability. He will get back to me in the new year as they is no "official" info from BMW Canada.

However, he did say that the BMW M2 will be shown at the Montreal Auto Show in early January 2016.

There are absolutely official documents from BMW now (I've seen them)... I'm sure he can find it if he looks. He's probably just lazy leading up to Christmas and doesn't want to look I bet money the GM for the dealer has it

Also does this mean we will not be getting any sunroof option period, in Canada?
