Like the Hockenheim Silver a lot

The colour is reminiscent of the M2 CSL renderings from the past

Try this one built on Jan 23, 2018. Apparently, all got the new model name now:

I Just took a look at the picture and wrote down some stuff i noticed someone can probably render the rest of the image to make the whole front of the car.

I never said that they are like the new M5.
The new M5 has the bonnet/hood extending all the way till the grille. The M2 Competition does not so they look a little different. What I said about the M2 competition was:
1, Laterally wider front grille.
2, Grille tapers inward on the top corners.
3, Grille is all black with each kidney having 5 vertical slats.
4, The side slits (Gills) are also all shiny black.
5, The lower portion of the bumper is more angular and looks wider.
6, There are 3 slits at the bottom of the bumper or the chin of the bumper with the outer 2 slits being lesser in width than the center.
7, Front grille does not distinctly separate into 2 kidneys. The center is similar to the new M5 but not an exact replacement.
8, There will be sport seats.
9, Hockenheim silver looks almost like white under bright white lighting and similar to the Audi from Artemis's post of the R8. I do not believe there is a bluish tinge to it but it could vary based on lighting.
10, The name in the back says M2 Competition and not CS/Cs.
11, There is no CF roof. Well, at least not an unpainted one.
12, There is no power dome,
13, The rear exhaust does seem like it has some sort of a diffuser but the lighting was not good enough to see distinctly.

The whole front appears like it was changed to allow for more air intake.

If you think black lettering/writing on a light blue background/border is good, you will be pleasantly surprised.

The rear still needs some work. Orange might not be so bad after all.

Well thank the stars that there is people on these forums that are far better than us at making renderings out of pictures like this ;-)

It's a still taken from a shaky phone video which was shot from inside a garage without natural lighting. What do you expect.

Based on everything that we have read so far, it is not. The only 2 cars that I have seen are silver and orange but we can assume with a high degree of confidence that MG will not be offered.

I have recently been made aware of "Delayed Gratification".

Wheels, brakes, interior will come later. April is a long way off and we need to keep the excitement alive.

BMW has not subjected us to anything. This is all on us.

Learn the dimensions of your vehicle, that way you don't need the sensors. It's an //M car for f sake.

Gatte, are the M Mirrors identical to the M3/M4 Mirrors, or are they a completely new designed model?

I think Scott26 answered that earlier. Yes. New for M2 and future M’s.

I think the future M he is referring to is the M2 GTS or whatever they end up calling it.

Judging by the rather fuzzy leaked picture showing the all-new Hockenheim Silver Metallic: the color reminds me to some extent of Audi's 'Suzuka Grey Metallic'. Cool color. In bright sunshine more white. More grey when overcast/darker (with a discreet grey/blue hue under certain lighting conditions).
Beat me to it I thought the same thing.

Why get rid of the twin distinct kindey's? It's a BMW trademark.

Ok, thank you I didn't see that. If they look fine I could imagine trying to install them on my M2... if possible, but I guess it won't

for f sake, you do not need a parking sensor in the front, esp for an M car. use your eyes.
