The OP has been on site recently but not responded to my pm nor this thread. Anyone know what the target price was?

The DP can be got off evilbay for A$1950 delivered plus GST on arrival. Thoughts?

I am definitely interested in getting one of these.

Hi all - haven't sourced a GB price, I wanted to gauge interest first to see how much leverage there would be in negotiation. Sorry Doji Desu I haven't received your PM feel free to shoot through again.

So I finally had my Fabspeed sportscat installed 2 days ago (& thanks to Stuart at BMR), couldn't be happier and imo well worth the $$. The already great sounding exhaust is louder and better imo (& cold start quite loud) with more/louder pops/burbles on gear shifts and over-run (I drive in sport+). Yesterday coming out of a couple of corners I also thought it was easier to activate the traction control, could be the extra 20hp or my wishful thinking Touch wood no CEL so far.
The Fabspeed has returned the in-cabin exhaust volume to around what it was with ASD on (I have it coded off) but it's not the annoying drone of ASD, and today in the rain with windows up I could easily hear the pops/burbles etc.

Just fitted an Akrapovic catted DP.

Sounds amazballs. No need for an exhaust upgrade IMO

I think I can tell the boost kicks in a just bit earlier and harder. But no massive difference in appreciable power.

But the sound alone is worth the upgrade

I just recently purchased the fabspeed exhaust from USA. The price was about 1600$ aud. However the tax was almost 350$.

That tax is a killer. A tip for not getting your item held up at customs and copping a heavy tax would be to get the seller to declare the item well below the 1000$ mark.

@nick85 Keep in mind when you declare at a lower value any insurance will be at the lower value. Also the 1k threshold is calculated with shipping.

At 700 usd it less than a 1k AUD. Have no idea on your shipping cost nor the exchange rate they calculated on. It is luck of the draw sometimes. Also no idea if it "close" they let it through. I have had to pay when items were 1100 and sometimes not when they were 1400.

Either way bonus for you!!

With the free trade agreement if the vendor fills out the form stating it is made in the USA with USA materials you will also pay no duty

Unfortunate, hopefully will be resolved quickly. I must have been lucky and got in before the change, now done 2500km with it installed without any issue (& some hard driving last weekend

Will be keen to hear what you think of the sportcat with your modified muffler. There is quite a noticeable lower volume from the left side exhaust pipes (flap open) compared to right side, was thinking the mod may even that up making it a little louder?
