F87 M Performance Steering Wheel with LED display

Has anyone gotten this installed in Australia?

How much is it - with and without the installation/labour?

You can reuse yr existing wheel cover or opt for the Open Pore Carbon Fibre cover (optional) which matches the trim on the M2.

The only real reason I want this is cos of the oil/water temp display

I am not convinced the alcantara is as hard wearing.

My sales guy said $2215 + install.

Considering it is US$1900 before their equivalent of sales tax - that seems reasonable.

Install is about $500 - but I should be getting a bit off from the dealer.

Damn I don't even have the car yet.

And I am already knee deep in mods.

He's checking if the new M Performance exhaust needs the button in the boot next.

Got a quote for the non LED wheel - $1700 installed so $2200 isn't bad I guess.

Please let me know how you go with BMW PE, the new button is a bit of a put off but i believe someone has figured out a work around already.

Will let you know about the M Performance exhaust.

He's told me he only recommends the muffler because it's not quite legal.

I've got the LED wheel, I think I paid about $2-250 to get it installed.

Check out the M3/4 forums if you want to save some cash. It's the same wheel and yes you can reuse the existing insert if you don't like the carbon look.

I'm getting the exhaust installed next week. Pretty sure it's only Europe with the red button. I didn't actually ask, but I'll find out soon!

No, got it off Stu from BMR. Getting it installed at Active motor werk locally.
It was an impulse buy after hearing a friends with one on. For almost a year I've been saying the car doesn't need an exhaust!

I've also bought a few parts from Stuart over the years.

Sent an email off today to my local dealer for a price on the MPE, also requested the part # to see if it's the updated exhaust.

Is this from a BMW dealer or third party?

Would love to know how much and where, however probably won't help me much seeing I'm in WA.

Oh sorry, thought you were talking about the exhaust.

+1 on finding out if the red button is needed here. I'm close to pulling the trigger for my LCI on order but that's holding me back.

What are you paying for the MPE including fitting through BMR? I got a quote of $8.8k from the stealer

It's not exactly answering your question, but I though all the dealers would offer the same quote? My dealer gave me the pricing as follows:
- M Performance Exhaust: $4,490.00
- Carbon Tips (all 4): $2,217.15
- Titanium (all 4): $1,595.05
- Fitment: $549.90

Had the MPE installed today. I can confirm there's no red button, thank god!
Even though there are work arounds already, it'd just be an extra pain having to get it all sorted.

On first impressions, I don't htink anyone with an MPE is dissapointed, the sound is great and it's not a lot louder from inside the cabin.
If you're happy with the stock exhaust, you really con't lose. The car sounds excellent as is, however the MPE just amplifies it and makes it even better.

I'm getting a quote for the MPE but maybe plan for that later down the road.

Did you do the entire MPE? Or just the muffler? With CF or titanium tips?

Is it ok to ask how much it was and how much was the installation labour?
