Is the front plastic splitter from M2csracing of the same configuration as the carbon splitter from M2cs?
In other words will the plastic front splitter from M2csracing fit M2c and M2cs?

I'm sure it would fit but no, it's not the same "shape" and doesn't attached the same way.

It's also not the nicest finished piece and I'm not sure why anyone would want it on their beautiful street car.

Thanks for sharing

If and when you have the wheels off please take some pics of the suspension

I'm very curious to see what the M2CSR H&R coilovers look like

Will do. Oh and btw I took a bunch and tried to post but they all post sideways or upside down. Rat turds I say

Did you catch the rear brake ducts? I’m sorry that pic is sideways so probably hard to discern

I hadn't noticed the rear brake ducts until you mentioned it

I think I was too fascinated with the air jack system and fantasizing about trying to retrofit them to my car

In any case, so many cool features on the CSR

The M2 CSR uses a ZF single damping adjustable coilover set. Rebound and compression adjustments are locked together, but the damping profile is very different compared to pretty much every other off the shelf coilover kit out there for the F8x. Its damper tuning profile is in the direction of how I'd want a system tuned.

Hopefully not already posted, looks like a beast. Some great ideas, loosing 200kg is no mean feat.

Thanks for correcting / enlightening me about the coilovers

I haven't been able to find any info about them online except for this listing in the UK

https://www.apmotorsport.co.uk/produ...n-complete-kit

I assumed they were from H&R simply because of the stickers on the side of the car

Perhaps H&R makes some of the other M2CSR suspension components like the anti roll bars

https://www.apmotorsport.co.uk/produ...-anti-roll-bar

https://www.apmotorsport.co.uk/produ...-roll-bar-rear

If so, I wonder if they are basically the same as the ones H&R is currently offering in the aftermarket

Anyhow, I should have remembered seeing the ZF logos in some of the original marketing material

What about some inspiration taken from the Porsche checkered flag, but in BMW M colors as variant. Or the Martini straight line in BMW M colors ?

It's possible the front might be the same as an H&R, but the rear CSR bar is 1mm larger than H&R (26mm vs 25mm).

It's funny that the CSR bars are cheaper than pretty much all of the aftermarket options.

Lowered using Eibach springs.

No negative changes to ride characteristics that I can discern. Might even handle better. Oh I just opened another can...lol

It looks fantastic. However I’m not even going to consider it! Not messing with perfection!

Thanks and perfection was only ENHANCED as
far as I’m concerned. All subjective of course but we drove them back to back on B roads at decent speeds and there isn’t a difference that we can discern.

But yes if you are worried don’t fo it. The suspension is one of the highlights of this car. The dampening is so good. Same goes for the race car as well and as you can see a lot less travel there.

Both street car and race car remind me of a well damped GT3 and how it handles the bumps.

Lineup. The new guy on the block, the M2 CSR, has the favor at the moment. It also bumped the "LTW swapped" DS E30 M3 track focused car off the track and back to street duty.

Please allow me to introduce them.

Center Right: DS E30 M3. True LTW 3 liter engine. MCS 2 way remote, 6 speed, etc... Fun weekend street and track car and sounds amazing to boot.

Bottom Right: PTG LTW. She is a real LTW, Modified from new by PTG Racing in 1995. Euro engine, Race Dash, etc...owner spent $130,000 on the car back in 1995. And you can tell. Amazing machine.

Bottom Left: Savage is my AW 2.5 S14 E30 M3. Everytime I see this car my heart melts.

Center Left: M2 CS black on black on black on black on black. Thinks she is the leader of this pack but really it's PTG LTW then Savage.

Top Right: M2 CSR. My first BMW Motorsport car and won't be my last hopefully.

Top Left: Destiny. The car that started my passion for BMW back in 2014. My first E30 M3.

Missing is another LTW and Fire Orange E30 M3 with S54 swap.
